On 11 July 2013 Professor Alessandra Silveira, CEDU's Director, participated on the International Seminar on Ibero-American Studies in Constitutional Law about "The evolution of fundamental rights and its constitutional effectiveness". The Seminar took place in Porto at Universidade Portucalense. The panel she integrated was about the following subject "fundamental rights in Portugal and the European Union". Professor Alessandra Silveira was about "The protection of fundamental rights in the European Union - scope of application and perspectives". Many national and international researchers participated in this conference which took place between the 11^th and 12^th July 2013.
