On June 3rd 2013 Professor Alessandra Silveira, CEDU's Director, participated on the Summer Seminar on "A caminho de novas parcerias mundiais - Implicações Jurídicas e Económicas", at Coimbra University Law School (FDUC). The Seminar took place on 1st, 2nd, 3rd July 2013 on room 7 of Coimbra University Law School. It was co-organized by FDUC, Associação de Estudos Europeus de Coimbra and Instituto de Pesquisa e Estudos Jurídicos Avançados. Professor Alessandra Silveira was part of the "Human Rights" panel,  which had the following participants:

- Ministre Marco Aurélio Mello - Brazilian Supreme Federal Court;

- Professor Rui Moura Ramos - Coimbra University Law School, Ex-President of the Portuguese Constitutional Court and Ex Portuguese Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union;

- Professor Alessandra Silveira - Jean Monnet Chair, CEDU's Director, Minho University Law School.
