| On November 18 and 19, 2019, Professors Alessandra Silveira and Joana Covelo de Abreu were in Brussels to participate in the activities inherent in the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Jean Monnet Activities. On November 18, the Coordinators' Conference/Kick-off Meeting took place. Prof. Joana Covelo de Abreu participated in the event as coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module "eUjust - EU Procedure and credit claims: approaching electronic solutions under e-Justice paradigma", assigned to the University of Minho from September 2019 to August 2022. This module aims at promoting a raising of awareness among judiciary, students and other legal professionals about cross-border credits' recovery mechanisms in the light of the European Union Procedure in a logic that is now re-equated in the light of the European e-Justice paradigm.

On 19th of November took place the Jean Monnet Conference - "30 years of Jean Monnet Activities: EU Studies in the Digital Age", in which Professor Alessandra Silveira participated as a speaker at the panel "Europe: Facing the Digital Challenge". This intervention was based on the Jean Monnet INTEROP Project, of which she was Scientific Coordinator from 2017 to 2019.
