On 26 May, between 11:00-13:00, in room CP2 307, CEDU held a Seminar on competition law with the current Portuguese magistrate at the General Court (Court of Justice of the European Union, Luxembourg), Mrs. Maria José Costeira, on the topic "Critical perspective on the transposition of the private enforcement directive". The main concerns regarding the transposition of Directive 2014/104/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2014 on certain rules governing actions for damages under national Competition law of the Member States and the European Union. After Mrs. Costeira's presentation there was a debate involving researchers from CEDU and Master students in European Union Law of EDUM.
