On December 18, 2014 were held at the National University of Distance Education in Madrid, Spain, the PhD exams in European Union Law of Master Gemma Perez Souto, Collaborating Member of CEDU, whose thesis was entitled "Eurojust y sus principales desafios frente a la delincuencia transnacional grave".
The jury was composed by Professor Concepcion Escobar Hernandez (Professor of Public International Law at UNED), Professor Juan Santos Vara (Professor of European Union Law of the University of Salamanca) and by Dr. Anselmo del Moral Torres (Lieutenant Colonel of the Guardia Civil and Professor of the University Center of the Guardia Civil), the candidate was approved with the final grade of Excellent Cum Laude.
