Prof. Alessandra Silveira, Director of CEDU, was interviewed by Jornal Académico - Weekly Academic Association of Minho University (week of October 23, 2014) concerning the appeal of the University of Minho on foreign researchers and teachers. The interviewee explained that the area that is dedicated (the law of the European Union) is responsible for more than half of the rules governing our daily lives in the EU Member States (the consumer environment, competition to family law affecting border, etc.). And that in Portugal we were more aware of the relevance of EU law in our lives because of the crisis ... but it is also in such basic things as, for example. the quality of the food we eat.
