The work "O princípio do nível mais elevado de protecção dos direitos fundamentais na União Europeia", written by Mariana Canotilho, CEDU's Collaborating Member, was awarded with an Honorable Mention in the 2011 Edition of the Jacques Delors' Award.
Instituted in 1996 by the Jacques Delors European Information Centre and supported by the Portuguese Bank, this award aims the appearance of portuguese unpublished research projects, about the European Union. The jury, composed by national personalities of recognized scientific merit, prefer works about present themes of the european reality, such as Master dissertations and PhD thesis still unpublished.
