| On 3rd June took place the CJEU Simulated Hearing at University of Minho Law School. Five teams from the 2nd year of the Law Degree were competing. The teams had to defend arguments about a complex case, after that they had to answer the jury's questions. The case corresponded to a real life situation and the questions were based on questions from the last edition of the European Law Moot Court Competition in which a team from CEDU participated. As in previous editions the jury was presided by the President of Guimarães Court of Appeal, Judge António Ribeiro, and had the following members: Judge António Sobrinho, Judge José Vieira da Cunha, Judge Fernando Fernandes Freitas, Judge Rosa Tching and Lawyer João Resende Neiva, all of the members are students (or ex-students) of the European Union Law Master Degree. As in previous editions this event had the support of ELSA-UMINHO and AEDUM. The winning student is going to be given the opportunity to be part of CEDU's group (whose member are masters degree students, judges, public prosecutors and lawyers) in the study tour to CJEU which is going to take place from 16th to 20th June 2013. Ana Isa Dias Meireles won the 2013 edition of the Simulated Hearing. The activity was organized by Sophie Perez Fernandes.
