Under the protocol signed between the Associação Sindical dos Juízes Portugueses (ASJP) and CEDU, there are several judges from the courts of the north of Portugal that will be supported by researchers of this Centre of Studies, namely researchers with a Master degree and in the second year of that degree (preparing their Master's dissertation) in European Union Law. The initiative aims the interaction between courts and the University, through a partnership in which judge's are available to interact with EU law specialists. The collaboration started with a lunch in the restaurant "Solar do Arco", in Guimarães, last 25th October, promoted by the President of Guimarães Court of Appeal, Judge António Ribeiro. More than fifteen judges of the civil section of that court were in the lunch. They will be supported by CEDU researchers who will gather CJEU's jurisprudence on EU Law. After the lunch, Professor Alessandra, CEDU's Director, spoke about the subject "Interconstitucionalidade no contexto da União Europeia", that was used as Centro de Estudos Judiciários "General Culture" exam subject. Rita Fabiana da Mota Soares attended this event in representation of ASJP.
