Alessandra Silveira (Jean Monnet Chair in EU Law), Karine Silva (Jean Monnet Chair in Regional Integration), Joana Abreu (PhD scholarship of FCT) and Virgílio Pereira (Guest Researcher in the Centre for European Studies, Saint-Louis, Académie Louvain) were in Brussels, on 13th and 14th November, in the annual meeting of Jean Monnet Professors and members of the ECSA (European Community Studies Association), which conference was about the following topic "Sustainable Growth in the European Union - The Role of Education and Training". In this context, Alessandra Silveira was elected to the General Assembly of portuguese ECSA, that is nowadays directed by Professor Manuel Lopes Porto. At the same time, the book "Tratado de Lisboa Anotado e Comentado", coordenated by Manuel Lopes Porto and Gonçalo Anastácio, was presented, with which collaborated, as co-authors, several members of CEDU. The book was presented by Vital Moreira and Paulo Rangel, who are also co-authors of the book, in Orfeu, Brussels.
