The European Commission, through the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, assigned the Jean Monnet's Chair in European Union Law to Professor Alessandra Silveira, CEDU's Director.

The project will be develloped in the following years under the theme "Citizenship of rights: European citizenship as the fundamental status of nationals of the Member States" and it will be co-funded by the European Commission.

The Jean Monnet's Chair is the most prestigious international award assigned to a professor / researcher in the European Union Law domain.
