CEDU / University of Minho's Team was selected to one of the Regional Finals of the European Law Moot Court Competition (ELMC) 2011/ 2012, which will take place in Luxembourg (9th to 12th February). The team is constituted by Virgílio Pereira (coach), Sophie Perez Fernandes (team leader), Rui do Carmo, Joana Dias and Maria José Gomes.
Accordingly to the organization of the event, "the level of participation was very high this year, with most teams presenting high quality work. Proof of this is that the average score for the entire group of teams was 16,65."
The ELMC is a reputable international university competition in European Union Law. There were selected 12 teams for each regional final. In 2012, the Regional Finals will take place in Luxembourg, Braga, Luzern and Istambul. The great Final will take place in the Court of Justice.
