In the context of the European Heritage Days 2019, CEDU-JusGov joined the PhD students in Cultural Studies of the Institute of Social Sciences and the UMinho Institute of Letters and Human Sciences in promoting the initiative "Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte: Cross Views", framed in the central subject "Arts, Heritage and Leisure". In the year in which the architectural and landscape set of the Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary became part of the UNESCO list as a World Heritage Site, it is important to discuss the implications of such a distinction in order to boost its material and immaterial character, as well as gauge the forms of enjoyment and safeguard.

On October 10, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm, at the Gualtar Campus House of Knowledge (UMinho General Library lounge space), a workshop will be held followed by a multimedia photo exhibition (free entry but subject to registration) jp2019bomjesus@gmail.com). On October 12 at 10h30 there will be a guided tour of the Bom Jesus Sanctuary of Braga with meeting at 10h00.
