On April 24, at Auditorium B2 of the University of Minho, Professor Alessandra Silveira, Coordinator of the INTEROP project, participated in the debate "The European Parliament and I" jointly organized by the Office of the European Parliament in Portugal, Europe Direct do Minho, Association of Law Students of the University of Minho (AEDUM), and Centre of Studies of the Course of International Relations of the University of Minho (CECRI). Alessandra Silveira discussed the functioning, composition and performance of the European Parliament, focusing in particular on the ongoing electoral process and the measures taken to address online misinformation. The debate was attended by the Head of the European Parliament's Office in Portugal, Dr. Pedro Valente da Silva.
