E-BOOK OF THE IV HISPANIC-LUSO-BRAZILIAN INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND PUBLIC POLICIES

"Sustainability and Digitization: Fundamental Rights and Public Policies"

(22 and 23 March 2018, University of Minho, Braga/Portugal)

As part of the project Jean Monnet INTEROP - "Digital Single Market as a political calling: interoperability as the way forward", took place between 22 and 23 March 2018, in the Casa do Conhecimento of the University of Minho, a cycle of seminars "Sustainability and Digitization: Fundamental Rights and Public Policies", held in partnership with researchers from UNISC (University of Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil). The texts presented at that time are now published in an e-book organized in partnership with UNISC (Brazil) and the University of A Coruña (Spain).

From the standpoint of technological sustainability, the following themes were discussed: "Sustainable public management and social participation", "Economic, social and environmental sustainability: from public policies to judicialization", as well as "Public and private relations in the digital age - dimensions political and legal". The seminar cycle was transmitted by videoconference to UNISC researchers in Brazil in order to enhance the results of the INTEROP project and to promote interaction between researchers from both institutions.
