On January 25, at the Judge's House in Coimbra, Prof. Alessandra Silveira spoke at the conference on "Fundamental Rights", organized by the Judge Magazine and the Trade Union of Portuguese Judges. With an intervention on the protection of personal data under EU law, she sought to explain why data protection has become the fundamental identity issue of our times, warning of the challenges of digitization, artificial intelligence and of robotics.
