"State of the Union" radio program (a Europe Direct do Minho partnership, Antena Minho, Correio do Minho) on President Juncker's speech "The hour of European sovereignty"

Researchers at UMinho's Centre for the Studies in European Union Law (CEDU-JusGov) spoke on September 26 at 7:15 pm on the radio program "O Estado da União" (a partnership between Europe Direct do Minho, Antena Minho, Correio do Minho). In addition to the usual presence of Prof. Alessandra Silveira, holder of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Union Law at UMinho, the program was also attended by Prof. Pedro Froufe, Director of CEDU-JusGov.
This September program addressed the speech of European Union President Jean-Claude Juncker's "State of the Union 2018", entitled "The hour of European sovereignty". The speech focused on the commitments to be fulfilled by the European institutions in the next 12 months in relation to the most varied areas of competence of the Union - from the digital single market to the Union for Energy, the Union to the Security Union.
The radio program "State of the Union" aired on the last Wednesday of each month and aims to discuss the current European situation, seeking to inform and elucidate citizens about European issues relevant to their daily lives. The conversation is usually moderated by Dr. Alzira Costa, coordinator of the Europe Direct Information Center, and by Dr. Paulo Monteiro, director of the Antena Minho radio.
The program is broadcast via Antena Minho radio (106.0 FM) and can be followed through the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/antenaminho/). It is also available in the Antena Minho podcast (http://www.antena-minho.pt/podcasts.php) and in the radio Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzpv4vw_yRflJTAbYmNHsRw).
