On September 19, 2018, the results of the project "Roadmap for Portuguese Family Companies" (Norte-02-0853-FEDER-000018) were presented at the Pavilion of Arts and Creativity in the city of Guimarães at the International Seminar "Roadmap for Family Companies: mapping, professionalization and innovation". The event was organized by CEDU-JusGov, Pedro Froufe, Alessandra Silveira, Joana Rita Abreu and Larissa Coelho. The project led by the University of Minho, by the Interdisciplinary Center of Social Sciences - Polo UMinho (Centro Interdisciplinar de Ciências Sociaisl - Polo Uminho) (CICS.UMinho) in co-promotion with the Business Association of Portugal, is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Ana Paula Marques, financed by the ERDF and Norte 2020 and continued a double objective: to map family businesses in the Northern region of Portugal and to assess their contribution to the local, national and international economy.
