Professor Alessandra Silveira, Member of CEDU's Executive Committee and holder of a Jean Monnet Chair in European Union Law, participated in the XXVII National Meeting of CONPEDI (National Council for Research and Postgraduate Studies in Law), held on 13, 14 and June 15, 2018 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, under the subject "Law, Sustainable City and Cultural Diversity".

Professor Alessandra participated as a panelist on the panel on "Human Rights in Transnational Society" with a contribution under the subject "Liberalism, Democracy and Human Rights in the Digital Age: Looking for a Survival Manual".
