Sophie Perez Fernandes, CEDU researcher, on teaching assignment at Università degli Studi di Verona
 

Sophie Perez Fernandes, Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Minho Law School (EDUM) and researcher of the Centre of Studies on European Union Law (CEDU), will be on a teaching mission at the University of Verona under a Erasmus+ Program of Mobility of Teachers from 7 to 10 May.

Among the teaching activities included in the teaching assignment, the lecturer will lecture on the topic "The implementation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU in the Member States" in the course "Introduction to EU Law" coordinated by Professor Caterina Fratea, and to give a Seminar under the subject "Fundamental rights in the EU", organized under the project #TILT - Trending International Law Topics, funded by the "Ricerca di Base 2015" program promoted by the University of Verona.

Sophie will also participate in the Workshop "Fashion Industry, Digital World and Competition Law: where does the EU stand?". The Workshop is organized by the Department of Scienze Giuridiche of the University of Verona with the collaboration of CEDU in the framework of the project "INTEROP - EU Digital Single Market as a political calling: interoperability as the way forward", project of which the researcher is member of the team .
