On March 2, 2018, a seminar was held under the Jean Monnet Project "INTEROP - EU Digital Single Market as a political calling: interoperability as the way forward", under the theme "Data Protection in the Interoperability Era - Challenges and perspectives".

This seminar was attended by the researchers of the mentioned project (Alessandra Silveira, Pedro Froufe, Joana Abreu and Sophie Perez), Professor Francisco Andrade (Director of the Master in Law and Informatics of the University of Minho), as well as external Professors Nuno Piçarra and Francisco Pereira Coutinho (New University of Lisbon) and João Marques (member of the National Commission for Data Protection).

The activity had as target audience the students of the Master's in Law of the European Union and in Law and Informatics of the Law School of the University of Minho.
