On March 29 and 30, 2018, CEDU researcher Sergio Maia Tavares Marques participated in the conference "Constitutional Challenges in the EMU: the New Instruments of the European Economic Governance" at the Free University of Brussels. The event discussed the impacts of the profound transformations of economic and financial governance on the EU's constitutional architecture. At the time, the researcher presented his communication, whose title was "Reshaping Euro's social market economy through EU constitutional values".
