The pannel was delivered on September 7th, from 2:30 p.m to 5:00p.m. in the room B2, CP2 of the University of Minho. Professor Alessandra Silveira (Project's Coordinator), Professor Pedro Freitas (Law School of the University of Minho), Professor Alexandre Veronese (Brasiília University) and Mr. Pedro Verdelho (Cybercrime's cabinet Coordinator of the Portuguese General Prosecutors' Office) presented on this pannel. Professor Joana Covelo de Abreu, who is one of the Project's members, was the moderator.

Under this thematic pannel, delivered under the Project INTEROP, it was aimed to discuss "the impact of ICT in the democratic system as we know it. In the European contexto, ICT tools appear as the latest primary public interest to be pursued by the political power. In this sense, it is importante to debate Digital Agenda objectives, ICT innovations, the risks and the potentialities of administrative and jurisdictional interoperability, conflict of rights concerning data protection, cybercriminality Dynamics and the ways to avoid judicial and constitutional disfunctionalities concerning phenomena as e-Politics and e-Democracy".
