Alessandra Silveira, Director of CEDU, and Sophie Perez, PhD Researcher of CEDU, participated in the seminar «The Digital Single Market and Digital Transformation in Portugal» that took place on the 25th October 2017 at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon. The event organized by the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal aimed to raise awareness and stimulate debate on the implementation of the Digital Single Market Strategy launched by the European Commission in 2015 and on Portugal?s progress in building an inclusive digital economy and society and in responding to the challenges it presents.
 
Alessandra Silveira and Sophie Perez actively participated in the debate in the framework of the Jean Monnet project entitled «EU Digital Single Market as a political calling: interoperability as the way forward», with the acronym INTEROP. The project team also includes Pedro Froufe and Joana Abreu, both researchers of CEDU.
