The Court of Justice of the European Union, based in Luxembourg, is currently organizing a public tender for the provision of legal translation services on a freelance basis. The notice was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 4 January 2017 (2017/S 002-001563).
 
Approved tenderers will work on a freelance basis to translate into Portuguese legal documents of the Court of Justice drawn up in several official languages: German, Spanish, French, English, Italian, Dutch and Polish. Participants in the competition must be holders of a law degree (with the exception of Dutch and Polish languages, where, as an alternative to a law degree, the participant is required to hold a university degree in any Another domain and have a year of experience as a translator and/or proofreader of legal texts).
