CEDU is organizing an International Congress on "Património Cultural Material e Inmaterial"  which is taking place on the 5th and 6th of November 2015 at Facultade de Dereito da Universidade De Santiago de Compostela and Escola de Direito da Universidade do Minho, respectively.

The organization of the event counts with several institutions, namely, the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, the Cátedra de Estudos Jurídicos Locales Màrius Viadel Martín, the Universitat Rovira I Virgili, the Grupo de Expertos Pro Iure et Cultura, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Centre of Studies in European Union Law which will also hold a Workshop within the proposed activities.

The congress will be devided on three main themes: Creación y Patrimonio; Patrimonio Material e Workshop: O caminho português de Santiago - gestão e valorização.

The director of CEDU, Prof. Alessandra Silveira, will present a communication on: "El reparto competencial sobre cultura y patrimonio - Competencias de la Unión Europea", on the 5th of November in the Facultade de Dereito da Universidade De Santiago and will coordinate the Workshop: O caminho português de Santiago - gestão e valorização on the 6th of November in the Law School of UMinho. This Congress is supported by Braga City Hall and Eixo Atlântico.
