CEDU's Director, Prof. Alessandra Silveira, participated in the Portuguese Seminar "30 Years of Free Movement of Workers Between Portugal and Spain", organised by FreSsco, an EC-funded network of independent experts from 32 European countries coordinated, which took place at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisboa, 30th October 2015.

CEDU's Director presented a communication on "The constitutionalisation of economic freedoms - or the role of free movement of workers in the context of a citizenship of rights".

Three other Collaborating Members of CEDU presented communications on the said event: Emiliano García Coso ("The free movement of EU workers and the obstacles in the Spanish public sector"), Francisco Pereira Coutinho ("Free movement of EU workers in the Portuguese public sector") e Ana Rita Gil ("Free movement of workers in the EU - the particular case of frontier workers").  The opening presentation ("FreSsco Presentation") was held by Nuno Piçarra who is also a Collaborating Member of CEDU.
