Daniela Marques Cardoso, CEDU's collaborating member, earned the prize Portugal-Europa 30 anos (PRIZE Portugal - Europe 30 years) for the essay «"Geschichtsmude" - Portugal e o cansaço da história - Como convidar a Europa para o seu significado?» ("Geschichtsmude" - Portugal and the Tiredness of History - How Can Europe Revive its Own Significance?) promoted by the Centro de Informação Europeia Jacques Delors (EUROCID) to celebrate the 30 years of the signature of the Treaty Accession of Portugal to the European Community. The prize was promoted by the Centro de Informação Europeia Jacques Delors (EUROCID) and the award ceremony was held on June 17, around 5 pm, in the Rectory of the Universidade de Lisboa, and was organized by the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ana Martinho. The jury was composed by António Vitorino (president), Eduardo Lopes Rodrigues and Rebecca Abecassis.
