Margarida Santos, CEDU's integrated member, was invited to the TV Show "Jornal 2" (RTP June 6 2015) in regard to the possible modification of the coercive measure applied to José Sócrates. The Professor explained the proceedings regarding the reexamination of the circumstances under which preventive custody is applied as well as the obligation of house permanence and the need of explicit consent of the accused to apply the coercive measure of electronic surveillance.
