CEDU promotes Conferences in partnership with Porto's Bar of Lawyers District Council
 



New knowledge and discussion of specific issues relating to judicial application of European Union law (which, increasingly determines and influences the domestic laws of the Member States) and by the Portuguese courts or by the Europeans, are the objectives of these Conferences promoted by Porto's Bar of Lawyers District Council and the Center for Studies in European Union Law (CEDU) of the University of Minho. It is intended to focus, above all, on the dissemination and the domain of some aspects concerning the judicial application of institutes and current relief schemes of EU law. This initiative is addressed to all the legal operators, and is coated with a special interest for Lawyers, in their day to day work, to enable them to detect and encounter, primarily and most immediately, with situations and legal problems whose proper resolution go through the practical application of European Union law.

Framework: "The problem of reference, important mechanism of protection of subjective rights of individuals under EU law will be Dealing with the ruling virtues in court proceedings involving the possible application of European standards by addressing some practical issues such as: how to raise and what types of preliminary ruling What are its procedural implications?"
