It is going to be held at the Law School of the University of Minho, on March 13, 2015, the colloquium entitled "Mortgage and economic and social crisis - the new EU Directive". The conference has two panels: the first will be presented by EDUM's lecturers who will discuss some of the most relevant aspects of that Directive, which aims to create a regulatory framework in the mortgage area, for the development of an internal market with a high level of protection consumers in the area of ??credit agreements for the acquisition of real estate; in the second panel, it is going to be presented the professionals' point of view who have to deal with in their day-to-day with the serious social repercussions, economic and legal of the harsh reality of those who can not comply with obligations under its mortgage loan contracts will be presented.
