Master in European Union Law by EDUM received a Honorable Mention in Jacques Delors 2013 Award - Best Academic Study on European Subjects

After the jury's meeting, which took place on may 15 2014, the Jacques Delors European Information Centre attributed an Honorable Mention to the dissertation "From the Nation State to the European Union - A Theoretical Look on the European Post-National Experience" presented by José Manuel Cabrita Vieira e Cunha. The prize winner is a Centre of Studies on European Union Law (CEDU) collaborating member and a Judge at Porto Court of Appeal.
It's the third time that a member of CEDU is laureate within Jacques Delors Award, in previous editions of this award Mariana Canotilho and Sophie Perez Fernandes, researchers, were awarded. The results of the 2013 edition can be seen at http://www.eurocid.pt/pls/wsd/wsdwcot0.detalhe?p_cot_id=8216
Jacques Delors Award was created by Jacques Delors Information Centre (CIEJD) in 1996, with the aim of encouraging the emergence of new works on the European Union, in Portuguese. Articles on current issues and innovative European reality are privileged, including master's and doctoral theses which haven't been published yet.
