Alessandra Silveira, CEDU's Director, was invited to participate in the I International Congress on Financial Law, which took place Labour Forum Ruy Barbosa, in São Paulo, Brazil, between 5 and 7 May 2014. The participation was on "Economical Crisis and Public Finances".

The event was homage to Professor RÉGIS FERNANDES DE OLIVEIRA, Financial Law Professor and Perpetual Member of ACADEMIA PAULISTA DE LETRAS JURÍDICAS. In addition to the honoured, fifteen other specialists participated in the Congress, such as Ives Gandra da Silva Martins.

The Congress was organized by Paulista Society of Financial Law and São Paulo?s Autonomous Faculty of Law (FADISP), with Academia Paulista de Letras Jurídicas (APLJ) support, Brazil Bar of Lawyers (São Paulo Section), Second Region Labour Regional Court (São Paulo), Second Region Association of Magistrates of Labour Justice (AMATRA II), Brazil Courts of Auditors Association (ATRICON), and Ruy Barbosa Institute.
