Professor Alessandra Silveira developed activities in several Brazilian Universities during September/2013 within the scope of her Jean Monnet Chair. The journey began at Vale do Itajaí University (UNIVALI), in Santa Catarina/Brazil, where she participated in four seminars. In São Paulo, CEDU's Director had the opportunity to participate in four Universities (PUC-SP, FADISP, EPD and Rio Branco), always disclosing EU law to the Brazilian audience. Next she went to Paraíba Federal University (João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil), where she lectured a short course entitled "Contemporary Problems of European Constitutionalism". Finally, she went Brasilia University (DF, Brazil). Alessandra Silveira participated in the International Congress entitled "Juridical and Constitutional Problems of World?s Society", besides lecturing a short course entitled "European Union Law - interconstitutionality perspectives and challenges" with the support of her two assistants Joana Rita Abreu and Sophie Perez Fernandes.
