Within the project "Interconstitutionality: network constitutional norms and European integration in world's society", a group of CEDU's  young researchers (Francielle Vieira, Joana Abreu, Marco Ibba, Sophie Fernandes and Taíza Silva) went to Brazil to participate in several events. This project was funded by FCT (Portugal) and CAPES (Brazil). The application and the funding was presented by Minho University (through CEDU) in partnership with Paraíba Federal University (UFPB), Brasília University (UnB) and Pontifícia Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/São Paulo), with the aiming of allowing the circulation of young researchers between the concerning Universities whose PhD is on these subjects Minho University was the only Portuguese institution whose project was approved within this program of cooperation between Portugal and Brazil. CEDU's researchers joined the following activities in São Paulo:

- Presentation and Discussion Workshop of PhD subjects in PUC/São Paulo, on September 6 2013.
- Workshop on "Interconstitutionality", which took place at FADISP, São Paulo Law Faculty, Brazil, on September 6 2013.
- Workshop under the subject "Crisis and Constitutionality" which took place at FADISP, São Paulo Faculty of Law, Brazil, on September 9 2013.
