Although CEDU was officially created in 2010 its group of researchers has been dedicated to European Union Law researching and diffusion since 2007, namely through:

* the creation of post-graduate studies at Minho University;

* celebration of international scientific cooperation protocols on European Union Law;

* organization of international conferences and seminars and corresponding publications;

* management of national and international projects on European Union Law.
